1. Company Scope & Nature of Services

Sarasota Flood Environmental Cleaning & Restoration (“Sarasota Flood,” “we,” “us”) provides professional environmental cleaning, mitigation, and post-loss property stabilization services in Florida using professional equipment, documented protocols, and trained technicians.

All services are assessment-based, non-medical, non-structural, and intended to stabilize environmental conditions, reduce contamination, and prepare properties for re-occupancy or further repair.

2. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

Sarasota Flood operates in compliance with applicable Florida laws and industry standards for environmental cleaning and post-loss remediation support.

• Registered Florida business entity
• Active Florida Department of State (Sunbiz) registration
• Sarasota County and City of Sarasota Business Tax Receipts (where applicable)

Licensing requirements may vary by service type. Sarasota Flood provides services within the scope of its registration and applicable Florida regulations and coordinates licensed specialists as required.

3. Advertising & Service Disclosures

Sarasota Flood provides environmental cleaning, mitigation, and post-loss stabilization services.
We do not provide medical, health, diagnostic, or guaranteed air-quality services.

Service recommendations are assessment-based, not advertising-based, and depend on on-site conditions at the time of inspection.

4. Scope of Permitted Services

Services may include:

• Water extraction and initial mitigation
• Structural drying and dehumidification
• Environmental deep clean detailing
• Moisture control and visible contamination removal (non-testing)
• Post-storm property stabilization
• Professional ozone shock treatment (unoccupied spaces only)
• Selective, non-structural demolition in support of drying or remediation
• Documentation for insurance or property management purposes

All services are performed using professional equipment and documented protocols.

5. Mold & Environmental Services Disclosure

Sarasota Flood does not perform mold testing, air sampling, medical diagnostics, or environmental health assessments, and does not issue clearance or air-quality certifications.

Where testing or certification is required, clients may independently engage a licensed Florida mold assessor.

Services focus on:

• Visible contamination removal
• Moisture source control
• Environmental cleaning
• Containment and stabilization

6. Ozone Treatment Disclosure

Professional ozone shock treatment is a post-remediation environmental service performed only in unoccupied spaces.

By authorizing ozone treatment, the client confirms:

• All people, pets, and plants are removed
• Re-entry occurs only after clearance and ventilation
• Ozone is not a consumer deodorizer
• Results depend on contamination severity and materials

Ozone treatment is not advertised or represented as a health, medical, or disease-prevention service, and is not a substitute for professional remediation where required.

7. Contractor Status Disclosure

Sarasota Flood is not a licensed general contractor and does not perform structural reconstruction or rebuilding.

Any reconstruction or structural repairs are:

• Performed by licensed contractors, or
• Coordinated separately by the property owner

Selective demolition is limited to non-structural removal required for remediation or drying.

8. Work Authorization & Site Conditions

By scheduling or authorizing services, the client authorizes Sarasota Flood to perform agreed-upon services at the property.

The client acknowledges:

• Conditions may change during service
• Not all damage is visible at inspection
• Additional work may be required for safety or compliance
• Pricing may adjust based on actual site conditions

Authorization includes permission to deploy equipment, perform environmental treatments, and document conditions for operational or insurance purposes.

9. Emergency Stabilization Authorization

For emergency or time-sensitive situations, the client authorizes reasonable actions to prevent further damage, including temporary drying or stabilization, even if full scope determination is pending.

10. Access & Personal Property

Client agrees to provide safe access and remove personal items upon request.
Sarasota Flood is not responsible for personal property left in affected work areas.

11. Realtor & Third-Party Referral Disclosure

Sarasota Flood may receive referrals from real estate professionals or third parties.

No referral fees or commissions are paid to licensed real estate professionals
• Referrals do not influence pricing or service recommendations
• Services are contracted directly with the property owner or authorized client
• Sarasota Flood maintains independent judgment in all assessments

Clients may choose any service provider.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Florida law:

• Total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• No liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
• No responsibility for concealed, pre-existing, or undiscoverable conditions
• Sarasota Flood is not an insurer of the property and does not guarantee permanent results

Results may vary based on structure, materials, exposure duration, and pre-existing conditions, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.

These limitations apply regardless of legal theory.

13. Attorney’s Fees & Costs

In any dispute arising from services provided, the prevailing party is entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, and related expenses, as permitted under Florida law.

14. Small-Claims Carve-Out

Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual claim in Florida small-claims court if within jurisdictional limits. Attorney-fee provisions apply where permitted by law.

15. Insurance & Risk Management

Sarasota Flood maintains appropriate coverage, including:

• General liability
• Environmental / pollution exposure
• Workers’ compensation

Proof of coverage available upon request.

16. Privacy & Communications

We collect only the information necessary to provide services.
We do not sell or share personal information.

Calls may be recorded for quality, documentation, and safety.
By contacting us, you consent to phone, text, or email communication.

17. Governing Law & Severability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
If any provision is unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling, authorizing, or receiving services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Service Conditions.
